West Park Leeds return to their home base fresh from last week's last minute win at Pocklington, courtesy of a Wilkinsonesque drop goal from Conor Armstrong. They will be hoping for better weather conditions to unleash their potent backline.

Visitors Goole have been a little out of sorts so far & below is their take on proceedings -

Goole succumbed to their fifth successive defeat on Saturday away at Doncaster Phoenix, going down 33-6 and sit third from bottom above Moortown and Hessle who are on -4 points. This Saturday they face a tricky away trip to West Park Leeds who had a fine win at Pocklington at the weekend and sit mid table. However, Goole go into the tie with nothing to lose as they look to kick start their season.

The Warriors had a fine win at Bradford Salem last time out & will be in good heart when they entertain Castleford 2nds in a Merit Table match.

The Lions game at Castleford has been called off.

The 4ths - still unnamed - play their second fixture, at home to Harrogate Pirates. Looks like that is one name you can rule out lads.
